With the leadership of IGAM and the partnership of Journalists’ Association; funded by the European Union Delegation to Turkey; within the “Media and Civil Society Cooperation for Rights of Refugees” project’s Izmir workshop was carried out between 10-12 December 2018 Radisson Blu Resort.
On the first day, presentations were started with Vice President of IGAM Dr.Murat Erdoğan and continued with Ülkü Doğanay's presentation and workshop. At the end of the day, there was a panel with the contribution from Mr. Hael Srour, Mr. Mavya Srour, Mr. Ümit Yaşar Işıkhan and Mrs. Lecturer. Prof. Aslı Aytaç, moderated by Ülkü Doğanay.
The final day of workshop was started with the presentation of Assoc. Dr. Başak Yavçan from TOBB University and continued with presentations from Mrs. Didem Akan, communication manager from World Food Programme and Mr. Metin Çorabatır, the president of IGAM.
The closure of the workshop was conducted by the presentations from Assoc. Dr. Gökay Özerim from Yaşar University, Adv. İrem Geçmez, the president of Mülteci-Der, and the president of the Association for Solidarity with Syrian Refugees in Izmir Mr. Mohammad Saleh Ali.
